At CABAID™, every ingredient is selected with a purpose. Whether it supports skin comfort, helps improve texture, keeps the formula stable, gives the cream a better feel, or helps protect product integrity after opening.
We do not believe in mystery blends, inflated claims, or fear-based beauty marketing. We believe in clear formulas, honest education, and products made for real body transitions.
The CABAID™ Ingredient Standard
Our standard is simple:
If an ingredient is in the jar, it needs a reason to be there.
That means we look at:

What We Mean by Transparent Ingredients
Transparency does not mean overwhelming you with chemistry.
It means helping you understand what is in the product, why it is there, and what role it plays.
On CABAID™ product pages, we aim to explain ingredients in a way that is clear, useful, and honest — not buried behind vague marketing phrases.
You should not have to wonder what a product is made of, why an ingredient was chosen, or whether a formula was designed with sensitive skin in mind.

We choose ingredients that serve the formula and the person using it. Every ingredient has a job — from skin conditioning to hydration, texture, preservation, cooling feel, or formula stability.
Yes to sensitive-skin thinking
CABAID™ products are designed with sensitive skin expectations in mind. That means avoiding unnecessary fragrance, colorants, and harsh-feeling ingredients that may not belong in products made for intimate motherhood transitions.
Yes to ingredient education
We want customers to understand the formula before they buy it. When we highlight an ingredient, we explain its cosmetic purpose and why it was selected.
Yes to formula preservation
A clean-feeling formula still needs to be protected. Preservatives help keep water-based products safer and more stable during normal use. To us, preservation is not a compromise — it is part of responsible product care.
Yes to comfort-first texture
A product can have beautiful ingredients and still fail if it feels sticky, greasy, heavy, or unpleasant. We care about how the cream feels on skin because consistency, glide, absorbency, and finish all affect the daily experience.

Why “Natural” Is Not Enough
We love ingredients inspired by nature. But natural alone is not the standard.
Some natural ingredients can be irritating. Some synthetic ingredients can be extremely useful, gentle, and well-tolerated. Some ingredients sound complicated but are included for very practical reasons, like helping a cream stay smooth, stable, or comfortable on skin.
Our standard is not “natural at all costs.”

Why the Base Formula Matters

Ingredient Standards for Wean & Ease
CABAID™ Wean & Ease was created for breast skin comfort during postpartum and feeding transitions.
The formula centers around:
Cabbage Leaf Extract
Inspired by the long history of cabbage leaf use during breast-care transitions, included in a modern cream format for customers who want something cleaner, easier, and more polished than the traditional method. Our formula uses 5% which is the maximum recommended amount by the manufacturer. We do not use "Maximum" or "Extra" strength when describing our products, we simply reveal our formula percentages.
Jojoba Seed Oil
A lightweight skin-conditioning oil chosen for softness, glide, and comfort.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
A smooth emollient that helps the cream spread easily without feeling overly heavy.
Glycerin
A classic moisture-supporting ingredient that helps skin feel soft and hydrated.
Ginger Root and Peppermint Leaf Extracts
Included for a cooling, refreshing skin feel that supports the sensory experience of the product.

Our Sensitive Skin Standard
CABAID™ products are designed with sensitive-skin expectations in mind.
For Wean & Ease, we completed sensitive-skin patch testing through a repeated insult patch test. Under the study conditions, the completed test showed negative observations and no reported adverse events.
Individual sensitivity can still vary. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. For medical concerns, pregnancy-specific questions, breastfeeding concerns, or unusual symptoms, contact a qualified healthcare professional.
What We Will Not Do
We will not hide behind vague phrases like “proprietary blend” when customers deserve clarity.
We will not use fear to sell skincare.
We will not suggest that a cosmetic product replaces medical care.
We will not exaggerate ingredient research beyond what it actually supports.
